Made With Love Wrap Up

Hello!

Its only one week since the Made With Love Decemeber Market and yet here I am still as weary and hot as I was last Sunday. I can blame the weariness on the 5km walk I did yesterday while moving my furry equine pals into their new home paddock but first let me tell you how it all went last weekend...

Arriving at the CEX at 6.30 am we were assured of the perfect parking spot out the front so we could unload all our goodies without straining already exhausted muscles (after all the recent late nights and early mornings).

The Ginger Kelly market team consisted of myself, my cousin Marcus (an experienced customer service representative)  and his very helpful parents (my aunt & uncle) who lugged around all the heavy trays, boxes and displays for which I am forever grateful!

What would I have done without my helpers? They artfully arranged a multitude of necklaces, greeting cards and hair clips among garlands of ivy, flower string lights and paper butterflies perched upon all the displays I'd made from old boxes, my DIY plywood flat-pack craft display risers and the heavy wooden drawer that I'd turned into a woodland jewelry shadow box!

If you like some of the display ideas I've used here you should see the masses of inspiration pictures that I've been collecting in my At the Markets board on Pinterest.

The market was a great success for Ginger Kelly and I had a marvelous time. Though I was kept very busy at my own stall and didn't get a chance to walk around and admire the other stallholders displays I did manage to snap a few photos of the displays that were close by.

As a lucky door prize I donated a custom hand drawn pencil portrait to one lucky winner...which was announced on the Made With Love facebook page just a couple of days ago...

I was delighted to hear so many people saying lovely things about my display and the way everyone responded to my woodland theme was wonderful! It took quite a long time to bring all the pieces together but I'm so pleased by the result and now I'm really looking forward to the next market in March!
